I've been mulling over getting a pair of Birkenstocks for some time. After much trying on of Madrid and Arizona I pinned my size down.
Because they are so expensive I thought a cheap trial run would be good so tried bidding on a pair of Ibiza on eBay without success. Then I found these gold lovelies for less than twenty quid. But do they fit? Sometimes I'm sliding forward in them, not over the edge but my toes knock the side and it's irritating. They are one wide band so no way to tighten them. Will I learn the toe grippy thing? Did you need to concentrate when you started wearing them?
