Opinions on LK Bennett shoes?

Hi all,

I have been eyeing this pair of shoes for a while and I think I might be ready to take the plunge and buy them. They look so lovely!!

I have never bought shoes from LK Bennett, does anyone have any opinions about quality, comfort and durability?

Thanks!

The soles are very thin.

Wingbing · 29/06/2017 14:13

Lovely shoes if you look after them. The Sledge has a better sole and I find them more comfy.

I have had a pair for 6 years. Irregular use to be fair, but not a mark on them.

I had these and managed to very quickly wreck them when the heel got stuck in a drain!
I got a replacement from carvela which are much more affordable and equal in quality.

Ive had a similar pair from LK and sadly ruined them getting the heel stuck in a drain!

I found a similar pair in M&S which were much cheaper and more sturdy:

Ugh sorry copying and pasting errors there!! My replacements were carvela not M&S. Although M&S do have a dupe but the sole is more platform.

Lovely shoes, I am trying to build myself up to buying another pair of nude LKB patents, as mine have died from years of use. Have looked at cheaper alternatives, but somehow the colour is always too pink or too beige.

I find LKB shoes very comfortable and didn't find the soles wore at all.

JDSTER · 29/06/2017 19:12

I've got something similar from LKB in black and I find them relatively comfortable, and that's from someone who rarely wears heels

Ponks · 29/06/2017 21:54

Lovely but get them soled.

shinynewusername · 29/06/2017 21:56

I think nude heels have slightly had their day unless you're Kate Middleton. Sorry.

namechange20050 · 29/06/2017 22:00

Noooo not nude patents. Unless you want to look like kate Middleton 5 years ago...

CarstieLou · 29/06/2017 22:08

Aren't nude heels a bit like black heels? Isn't it a classic, timeless style? It never occured to me that something so basic could go out of fashion..

They don't have the best customer service if something goes wrong.

CarstieLou · 29/06/2017 22:13

Just to give more context, I was planning to wear them with these sorts of outfits.

Not what you asked but the MnS dupes are great for the price and have built in padding in the sole.

shinynewusername · 29/06/2017 22:21

Nude patent heels have been over-exposed. They were everywhere 5 years ago. They will come back, but I wouldn't be shelling out on them now. A wedge or block heel looks more contemporary.

WanderingTrolley1 · 29/06/2017 22:22

Not worth the £££, in my experience.

Truckingalong · 30/06/2017 07:58

Well I think they're lovely. I have several pairs and find them comfy enough and the soles are fine but they're not work boots, so of course they're not going to stand up to a hammering. You can tell they're expensive and other similar shoes just don't have the same cut or quality.

Truckingalong · 30/06/2017 08:00

I do however think these are a better pair www.lkbennett.com/Collections/Shoes/Court-Shoes/Floret-Leather-Courts/p/SCFLORETNAPPANaturalTrench

AnnaNimmity · 30/06/2017 08:09

The florets are the most comfortable high heels I have. They last for ages too.
