Are there any decent bikinis?!

I've just booked a holiday for September so I'm currently looking for a bikini. All the ones I've seen so far are either string triangle ones or bloody stupid high neck affairs.

I'm a size 12 and my chest is on the larger side. I'm looking for a bikini that's basically a bra (underwired, moulded and no bloody halter necks) with a decent pair of bottoms.

Can anyone recommend anywhere to have a look? Didn't realise I was so fussy until I started this thread Grin

Thanks!

Pour moi. Most of mine are that brand. They're sold in various places but earlier this week they had a sale on their own website and I picked up a couple of bargains for less that £10 including postage. Word of advice though, they seem to come up a bit small so I usually go up a band size in comparison to my bra size.

Thank you - will have a look now Smile

PrAna has a good bra size top and bottom set

NoNeedToArgue · 29/06/2017 14:48

I've just bought an amazing one from Fantasie. It's the only bikini I've ever tried on which supports properly and has a lovely brief with folded over bit - godsend for my cs overhang!!

NoNeedToArgue · 29/06/2017 14:50

It's the Montreal bikini. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Branleuse · 29/06/2017 14:55

Im not sure what you mean by decent bikini, as we all have different tastes. I really like freya bikinis. Theyre all sized like bras, and designed for big boobs.
Ive just got this one for the summer www.belle-lingerie.co.uk/18709/freya/3894-freya-sabor-sweetheart-padded-bikini-top-spice/

Bravissimo usually have lots of proper bikinis for bigger busts.

DoFliesHaveKnees · 29/06/2017 16:16

Try Figleaves, they have loads. I got a lovely one in the sale yesterday.

caitlinohara · 29/06/2017 16:18

swimwear365.com is also excellent with free returns, I buy about 8 and then send the rest back.

fruitbrewhaha · 29/06/2017 16:19

I've had exactly this problem. Found some on Next.
It was really hard to find a bra type top with underwires and shoulder straps with a sensible bottom half.

I ended up ordering loads to try on and was surprised with which ones I prefered in the end.

OuchLegoHurts · 29/06/2017 16:49

Floozie by French Frost are amazing, brilliant support and gorgeous styles. They're in Debenhams.

uncoolnn · 29/06/2017 17:06

Fruitbrew www.shoppourmoi.co.uk I think this is the one

Brand Alley have Freya swimwear on the site at the moment, there seems to be lots of different cup sizes ans styles available

revolution909 · 29/06/2017 17:26

I found the best fitting one in Fat Face

Hellothereitsme · 29/06/2017 17:28

I would like a bikini like the wonder bra. Gives me a lovely shape.

fruitbrewhaha · 29/06/2017 18:48

I love floozie by Frost French too, but I could find one that didn't have high waisted bottoms or a skirted bottoms that I liked.

Thanks for the website poppym12, bargains, I have ordered another one.

poppym12 · 29/06/2017 18:52

DD got a decent one from Debenhams - they've got a few with separate bra sized tops and bottoms.

thenightsky · 29/06/2017 19:06

I got all mine from debenhams gorgeous range. I'm a 14 on the bottom and a 34E up top. They seem to be on line only this year though.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/06/2017 19:24

They had the gorgeous range in our debenhams.

WildCherryBlossom · 29/06/2017 19:33

I've got a Freya one and would definitely get more. You can usually select from a range of tops and bottoms. I chose the halter neck top with tie side bottoms. but could have gone for bra style and a range of different bottoms. I'm a 32E and was able to jump about in the waves on holiday without fear of my bikini failing me.

ShatnersBassoon · 29/06/2017 19:37

I got a couple in Next. I needed proper bra-fit tops and substantial bottoms.

HemanOrSheRa · 29/06/2017 19:41

I bought two Curvy Kate ones from Brastop last year. Very comfortable with good support for my big boobs and good coverage for my substantial arse.
