Very short hair + classic perm, what percentages are we giving on the outcome of my ending up with a Keegan? Shall we run a book?

No it's fine. Although I think it'll probably look more like this until it's relaxed a bit, you know, after a couple of washes. I bloody loved having my hair permed. I have to put up with stupid bumfluff hair now perms are out of fashion .

Can you not just cut in some layers and use salt spray? Otherwise you will end up like KK

All salons that do ladies of a certain age tend to be good with perms. My mate had a newfangled digital perm at a swanky salon, cost her £160 and lasted 5 weeks

They wrap the hair around their fingers? And toes if the hair is very think.

Oooh. That is very interesting. Due to a series of boring events, including my lovely hairdressers closing down, I haven't had my hair done for months. I've finally plucked up the courage to have my hair done at the small local place just along the road. I can't be arsed with the faff of going further. I'm booked in for balayage and C&B. I'm going to ask about perms!

Ah hem! My hair is naturally curly and sometimes I wake up and it's tiny like that.

It can vary between this and this overnights.

Also curly hair without layers looks like a big triangle, layers make it rounder.

Ps if you get springy curls random people (including complete strangers) will touch your hair without asking.
