Beach Trousers

Any recommendations? Managed to get a nice pair last year from Primark for a bargain £5 but haven't seen any this year. Seafolly do some lovely ones but are all £50+.

Really dislike my legs (varicose veins) but am tired of maxi beach dresses

I need a clue - What are 'beach trousers' ? Confused

Do you mean wide leg linen trousers? If so, then have a look in
H & M, New Look and Dorothy Perkins.

Never heard of specific beach trousers but there are plenty of wide or tapered leg elasticated waist trousers about, in linen or thin cotton type fabrics. Exactly like those Seafolly ones, they're just trousers or are they made of something special?

Personally I wouldn't like to put my sandy feet down a trouser leg, and have to walk back home with scratchy sand chafing my legs all the way...good exfoliating technique I suppose. Or go through the added faff of making sure my feet and legs were scrupulously clear of sand beforehand. Just step into a skirt or pull a dress over your head and go!

Tesco had a plain black cheese-cloth pair, very light. Can't find them online but found these:
