Lime accessories with navy for a wedding?

Attending a wedding in a few weeks and have bought this dress- it's quite plain but a good fit on me (always tricky to manage!)

I've got navy shoes, and I'm looking at strappier navy sandals as an alternative (though can't manage anything too high).

Was thinking of lime scarf , lime hat/fascinator , either navy or lime bag, and something along the lines of this necklace:

Alternatively, does anyone have any other accent colour suggestions? Cream would be classic but maybe a bit dull. Something along the lines of copper/ bronze? Can't have other shades of blue/ turquoise or orange, due to wedding party/other relatives. Not at all keen on yellow or bright pink. Coral may be a possibility?

I think lime sounds great with it. The old rule "blue with green should not be seen" is patent nonsense! If a church wedding I would cover my shoulders... but then I'm ancient and old fashioned!

What's your colouring? I'm pale and look awful in lime but coral works well for my complexion.

I think lime would look great! (I also can't wear it so a bit jealous) Coral would also look good. I only glanced at the pic so may not work but maybe a skinny belt? Lovely dress btw!

Ps I think you could possibly mix cream and lime as accent colours which may look a little less 'matchy'?

Loads of lovely bright colours to go with navy. Lime, bright pink, bright orange, red, yellow. Or if you wanted to be less daring, silver, gold, tan or nude.

Think the only colour I wouldn't put with navy is black or dark brown.

I'd go with either hat or scarf in lime, not both together as too close

So lime and navy seems to be a winner , so that's a start! Good point about hat /scarf, especially as I'm struggling to find any that match exactly.

My colouring is fairly pale, hadn't thought about that - perhaps there's a reason why I don't usually wear lime!

Coral/ navy/teal seems to be a popular combination, as a possible alternative?

Or maybe cream, tan, teal with navy? Bit boaty?
