Sun hat for big head!

I'm going to a wedding abroad and it's likely to be hot. I'm pale and I burn and I had it in the back of my mind that I had ages and that at some point I'd pick up a nice big floppy sun hat to reduce the chances of beetroot face. If I buy a hat I always have to get the m/l size.

The wedding is next week. I forgot. Looking online I can only fine them in "one size" and experience tells me they'll be too small. Anyone know any good brands for people with a big head?!

M&S do their sun hats in different sizes. I find their S/M too small but their M/L fit me fine. I too also struggle with 'one size' hats.

Someone on another thread recommended a website called Village Hats. You can specify size in your search.

I've never bought from them, but am tempted!

This sun hat is adjustable (from 54cm to 57cm).

Thanks everyone! Village hats looked promising but it was hoping for a white or ivory one and they don't have any. I'm. It sure if the m&s one will make it all a bit too girly? Tesco have one for £6 but I know it'll be too small. Dammit!

I bought a mans Panama style hat f on h and m for my holiday as my head is huge. It looks great.

Would either of the bottom two here do?

OP I've bought hats from Village Hats in the past and found their large sizes just slightly too tight....

M&S M/L hats are nice and properly big though. They do have some (reasonably) nice ones at the moment.

I thought a plain floppy sun hat to wear with a navy/white/pink outfit would be easy to find. I'm a fool. Think I might abandon and spend the afternoon hiding under trees for shade.

Would a mans roll up panama with one of your scarves around it fit the bill? M&S do one in S,M,L - but its pricy!. I have a ladies floppy version from years back - and just change the ribbon/scarf as needed.

My head has a 63cm circumference, hats are not my friends!

I think I want either white or navy because of the colours in the dress, I've got white shoes and a white cover thing so I think the "natural" colour might look a bit off. They are the sort of thing I want though.

Tk Maxx have a good selection at the moment, saw a navy one there last week.
