Talk to me about dry shampoo.

I have fine hair that becomes lank (and looks greasy at the roots when my period is due/on) if I don't wash each day. Thinking about trying dry shampoo to use every now and then to save time and give my hair a break.

Does it work? Does it look ok? Any tips on which to try and how to use it will be gratefully received!

The best way to use it is putting it in the night before your hair gets greasy rather that waiting for it to be greasy and trying to clear it up.

Ouai do an amazing dry shampoo foam but its pricey so I just grab batiest when it's on offer.

I have fine hair and I find dry shampoo makes my hair even more fly away.

I have similar hair and works for me...I just use Batiste.

My biggest tip is to spray it on and leave it for at least ten mins...I spray it on when I wake up and leave it while I cleanse my face, clean teeth, do my make up, etc.

This gives it time to work.

The thing is...the more you wash your hair, the more it needs to be washed. Ive managed to stretch mine out over time so that I only need to wash it every 3-4 days (with the last day using dry shampoo and being tied up).

I definitely agree with putting in the the night before if you can. Then style it as normal in the morning. Job's a good'un.
