I tried an in shower tan it was the st Tropez one and it didn't tan my skin at all I had followed the instructions too. Alot of people reviewed it and said it didn't tan them either.
Ive not tired the rimmel one though.

BeautyAndTheBrat · 26/06/2017 17:39

Someone I know tried and it worked out really nice!

wuckfit · 26/06/2017 17:41

Iv tried the st tropez one. Wasn't keen didn't go dark enough and 3 minutes is a long time stood naked and shivering in the shower Grin

cherrylove · 26/06/2017 17:45

I tried the St Tropez in shower one and it did nothing. I wasn't aware that Rimmel do one now.

Thinkingabouthowlifechanges · 26/06/2017 17:51

Love the St Tropez one so will definitely try the Rimmel one which I imagine is cheaper

cherrylove · 26/06/2017 18:00

It's not got the best reviews on boots and it's £9.99. It's £6.65 at the moment in superdrug with slightly better reviews.

scoopmuckanddizzyrollytoo · 26/06/2017 18:02

Rimmel one is much darker than st tropez and you dont have to wait 3 mins, i found it greasy though.

user1486669405 · 26/06/2017 18:06

I've used it to disastrous effect!!

Urglewurgle · 26/06/2017 18:09

I like the St Tropez one, it's a gradual tanner so builds up over a few days.

Not tried the Rimmed out though.

hollyisalovelyname · 26/06/2017 19:13

Thanks all.

I bought it last week and it was a disaster. I am orange and streaky despite following the instructions
It has a creamy texture but when rubbed onto wet skin leaves an oily film with instructions not to rub yourself with a towel so I wandered about for 10 minutes or so drying off naturally and praying nobody came to the door

Usually DD swoops in and takes any unwanted toiletries off my hands blaming my general incompetence with beauty products but has declined this on the grounds that glowing nuclear orange suits nobody!

hollyisalovelyname · 27/06/2017 10:08

Ivor
I won't be wasting my money buying it because of reviews here.
Thank you.
