Newtons Chiropody sponge - a quick question!

Sorry to sound dumb - in the instructions it says to use with a good quality soap. Does this mean a proper bar of soap as opposed to liquid soap?

I use shower gel with my Newtons sponge.

I use a Dove bar with mine. Keep it just for that use only.

I thought the same as you, OP. My soap is a bar of Simple, from a Home Bargains multipack. It still works a treat.

I think bar soap probably adheres to it better than liquid?

In my experience, it works with both, but bar soap is better.

I find liquid soap easier to use with it than bar. I just tend to use shower gel (mango original source) and it works fine.
