Which type of bob haircut?

I have long, past the bra strap hair, and am sick of it. Getting a bob cut in tomorrow but not sure if to go for a blunt one or an inverted one.

My hair is very thick, very wavy/bit curly, I rarely wear it down anymore as its too much hard work.

I have a roundish face (thanks to carbs), glasses, largish forehead so will get it cut with side parting so it falls across the forehead.

Help!

I have a blunt bob as my life is too short to blow dry an inverted bob under every time Smile I can just leave mine to air dry because I'm lazy

I know no help, I'd leave it longer, or to the shoulders. I had hair cut into a bob and it just hung there, I'd took an age to grow back. Personally I only think straight hair works in a bob, my hairs wavy, a lot of it.

Inverted bob will look odd with curly hair won't it?

Ollivander84 · 23/06/2017 18:48

Mine is v curly and I have an inverted bob

NapQueen · 23/06/2017 18:49

Puppy if I ever wear my hair down I straighten it.

I have a flat shoulder length bob with the corners rounded it's fine for me and not so heavy in the summer.

PuppyMonkey · 23/06/2017 18:51

Yours looks lovely Ollivander Smile

JaneEyre70 · 23/06/2017 18:51

I did the same and regretted it instantly.....the hairdresser got this lovely shape, it looked amazing until I tried myself. It took me about x3 longer to get ready everyday, instead of being able to brush and shove up in a clip/ponytail. My hair is quite fine but I've got a lot of it and it kinks on one side......it was horrendous. It's back to past my shoulders but it's taken me 18 months to get there!!

NapQueen · 23/06/2017 20:40

Hmmm maybe i should just stay safe and go for a shoulderlength cut.

My curls are nowhere near as nice as that!

Won't your curls get tighter and "poodle-ier" if you cut it shorter? Mine does, i have to have it well past my shoulders, almost bra-strap length for it to sit down at all.

Want2beme · 23/06/2017 22:15

Ollivander84 sooo jealous of yours.

I've got an inverted bob with side sweeping fringe. It's the only style that suits me.

Ollivander84 · 23/06/2017 22:29

It's taken a lot of experimenting with products! I don't use shampoo at all now

BrutusMcDogface · 23/06/2017 22:31

Ollivander- are you on the Facebook curly girl group, bucket any chance?! Wink

Mine is very similar, though not quite as curly, and inverted bob is the best haircut I've ever had!

BrutusMcDogface · 23/06/2017 22:32

*by!! Wtf did bucket come from?!
