Cut or colour? Either way wouldbt you just show them the picture? Colour is ombré

MiddleClassProblem · 23/06/2017 17:09

Or dip dye

i'm thinking more the cut / style . i have fine , very long straight hair at the moment though.

That hairstyle is just about the styling. Other than cutting hours to the same length, achieving it will depend on how good you are styling your own hair using a tongs and hair products.

^ yours not hours

The woman in the pic has thick hair - for fine straight hair you would need to use lots of product to add texture and use tongs etc. Layers are a must if you are to achieve waves with long hair.

This haircut uses a pointcutting technique on the ends which helps give it the beachy waves look. It's not cut straight across at the ends and it also has subtle layers which are also point cut.

Ooh good question! How do you make it wavy like that?! I've grown out my shorter hair as it's so poker straight I can't tousle it.

You want to ask for a lob but you do need to use tongs to get the effect. Have a look at you tube for some tips. The colour you could either go for ombré or balyage.

I've just had my fine longish hair cut in a similar style & i find it quite tricky to do the curl effect. I can seem to do one side fine but need more practise on the other. And the trick is to leave the bottom bit of hair out of the tong so it stays straight.
