My dd has asked for some nice face products for her birthday. She's been using boots own or body shop stuff. But was wondering about something a bit more special. I use a cleanser, toner, moisturiser and eye make up remover with occasional use of micellar water and exfoliant myself. Firstly, would these be the right products to get? What brand would you recommend? It feels like it would be nice to get a group from one brand but is that silly?

I'm 25 so not far off your DD's age and I love L'Occitane. Their Shea cleansing milk is great to take make up off and massage in then rub off as a gentle cleanser if you cba to moisturise.

I also have their facial soap in the little pot and it's lasted me 18 months. They're really good at giving out samples for moisturisers and things too. Lots of face and eye creams available.

I used to like Soap and Glory but I don't feel like the products are that great quality. The price tag if L'Occitane means I really kid myself it's a treat for my skin Grin

Another boost for Liz Earle - the cleanse and polish suits all skin types and smells amazing. Their gift packs are excellent value too.
