New Look or River Island plus size leggings

Has anyone any experience of either of these for a plus size apple shape? Might either stay up even after a couple of washes? To be worn with a short dress...

How plus size? I think the Dorothy Perkins high waist plus fit ones are great, but they are quite long, I'm 5'6/7 and find them perfect but if you are much shorter they may be too long.

5 ft 7, size 18. I know those two do high waisted leggings in their plus range, but wondered how they'd hold up after being washed (literally and metaphorically!)

I thought the NL ones were really bad.

I only wear the M&S ones. £9.50. They come up really high, have a wide waistband that doesn't fold and don't get all loose and baggy and I have to size down in them (am wearing size 18 ones at 35 weeks pregnant).

These ones

The core ones are great as well, but I prefer the wide waistband.

I'm same size and height as you OP and sweat by Topshop ribbed waist ones - never fall down!

Sainsbury's Premium leggings are very good

UsernameInvalid66 · 22/06/2017 17:23

Peacocks are the best for staying up in my experience.

I also like m&s basic leggings although I originally bought regular length and they are a bit too short and they hardly ever seem to have my size in long. I'm 5ft 8 btw

I haven't tried actual leggings from the river island plus range but I do have some jeggings from the range which do not stay up. This makes me a bit wary of buying any more leggings/jeggings from them.

Simply be leggings are really good. They come up higher. Tesco also good. New look OK.

Thanks everyone. I've just ordered some M&S ones online as they seem to get the most "votes" :o I downsized so I hope they fit!
