Avon-must haves/avoid

Hi just got an Avon book off my friend as wanted to order a few bits...
Looking at the skin so soft, do all the range work as insect repellant or a specific one?
Looking for a foundation and mascara too.
What other things have you liked from there? What should i avoid?
Ive used the sun cream from there in past but does anyone know anything about it failing a recent test?

I think it's just the original SSS (green one) that works as insect repellent.

Their Super Shock mascara is brilliant. I also love the Glimmersticks. Most of their make up is great actually, except for the budget range. And most of the skincare I've tried was really good too.

I hope Avon come back to Ireland.
Avon left during the recession

I used to love their triple benefit lip conditioner - a lovely lip balm that plumps and gives a nude effect

I second glimmerstick eyeliners. I bulk buy them when they are on offer.
I also love their Coco Butter body lotion, their raspberry shampoo and the both/fabric sprays. The magnolia one is my favorite right now.
Their matt BB cream and face perfector is great.
Basically I love Avon.

Definitely the glimmersticks and I quite like the pearlshine nailvarnish. I don't know if it's waterbased but it dries superquick and just makes your nails look really healthy without looking painted if you know what I mean.

They used to have a body lotion that was 100% failsafe at repelling mosquitoes and other bugs. Amazing stuff. Also left skin very soft and had a light texture. Not sure whether they still sell it as I stopped being pressured into buying Avon by my friend buying Avon ten years ago nearly.
