That don't cost as much as Bravissimo?

Any help much appreciated!

ebay

JuneFromBethesda · 21/06/2017 21:59

Try www.brastop.co.uk (or .com, can't remember) and www.belle-lingerie.co.uk

And yes, ebay.

PaperdollCartoon · 21/06/2017 22:03

eBay is such a pain if you need to return things though. I'd rather go through a proper shop if possible.

I second eBay.

I recently bought a cup size top and bottoms from eBay. It was £25 so I thought it was worth a punt. I tried it on and it fits, but I haven't worn it properly yet.

I bought a tankini from bravissimo a few years ago and whilst the fit was lovely, it faded halfway through a week long holiday in the sun, so they refunded it for me.

chanie44 · 21/06/2017 22:06

Sorry, cross posted.

Yes, I was worried about eBay too, but I think that bikinis are more forgiving in terms of sizing than other clothes.

Intransige · 21/06/2017 22:07

I bought a range of sizes from Asos and returned the ones that didn't fit. They stock Freya bikinis and various other larger cup size brands.

WeeM · 21/06/2017 22:08

Primark do a bigger bust range now I'm sure. I've always quite liked their swimwear-does a turn for what you pay for it.

Piggywaspushed · 21/06/2017 22:13

Brastop as mentioned definitely. Also Figleaves.

But I am afraid you do have to be prepared to fork out...

IHeartKingThistle · 21/06/2017 22:14

Curvy Kate. My first ever bikini top that I don't fall out of.

Cineraria · 21/06/2017 22:15

Brastop.com is fantastic, especially if you wait for one of their promotions on whatever you are planning to buy or the free delivery weekend (usually once a month, I think). I like the Curvy Kate ones they sell best of all.

You might need to sign up to the newsletter to see what promotions are on.

PaperdollCartoon · 21/06/2017 22:22

I'm prepared to fork out if need be, but thought worth mining the MN wonders for any gems I might have missed before I do!

Debenhams have a good selection of bra size bikinis, I especially love the one with the lemon print that has had a lot of media coverage.

Piggywaspushed · 22/06/2017 07:15

Indeed : lots of fuss about the tampon tax. We should revolt about the DD+ surcharge!!

I tried a TU bikini which claimed to be for D/E cup. The bottoms were great. The top didn't fit at all.

Smaller chested ladies can buy a swimsuit for about £12. The cheapest I have managed for a bikini is around £25 inn a sale.

Do look at the Bravissimo sale bit though.

AlwaysHangry · 22/06/2017 07:26

Boux avenue is great too if you search they normally do a 20% off

Pippin8 · 22/06/2017 07:41

I bought a pour moi bikini last year & was really impressed. They are mix & match so you can get a scaffold style top & tie side bottoms if you prefer. I've got my eye on another for this year & its £43. So, not mega cheap, but they have a sale section which is good.

LadyPenelopeCantDance · 22/06/2017 07:41

Figleaves sale section is normally great. Got quite a few bits from there in the sale. Free returns too so often order more than necessary. I often find with bikini tops I can change bra size up and down easily.

chloechloe · 22/06/2017 07:46

I'm DD/E and usually buy from Freya. I'm watching this with interest though as I fall between S and M in their bikini bottoms so could do with trying a different brand.

Piggywaspushed · 22/06/2017 08:00

Figleaves own brand good chloe : I find Freya a bit small too.

chloechloe · 22/06/2017 08:56

Thanks piggy I'll try Figleaves. It's frustrating with Freya as the small digs in a little on the hips so doesn't look great (I hate it when you get a bulge over the elastic!) whereas the medium looks better but get too loose when wet so I always have to do a modesty check when exiting water!

Patchouli666 · 22/06/2017 09:44

Asos do a dd+ range called 'fuller bust' and also stock ranges from other manufacturers.
I've got a couple of the Asos own ones and they are great.
