So after years on manicures, most recently using shellac polish, look at the sorry state of this finger nail 
Is this some sort of fungal infection? The centre is weak & it keeps splitting down the middle. I know I need to give my nails a rest but this so looks revolting that I just want to cover it up with colour again. Any ideas of how what I should do?
