Recs for stylish, foldable Panama hat?

I had a Tumi one but have bloody lost it, and it was about £40 :(

All the ones I see on the High St are almost crocheted, rather than woven - does anyone have any recommendations for one I can fold/pack, and it'll just pop back into shape?...

suck it up and buy another nice one - the cheap ones just don't compare

The Tumi one wasn't that great though, MrsB - couldn't quite put my finger on why but I was hoping someone could recommend a better and also cheaper one!

Maybe it was just a bit too big - perhaps I'll get a new one bit make sure I can swap the size if needed. It was actually recommended by someone on here who said it was their top tip for being stylish on holiday, can't remember who but I liked the principle behind it!

I've just bought a Panama hat after my last one got nibbled by a dog. Sadly it wasn't cheap though, and the foldable ones were even more expensive - but I had great service from panamas.co.uk and it's beautifully made.

Can you go to a menswear outfitters and try some on?

This summer I'm wearing a random wide-brimmed one I picked up in a market that seems to be made of grosgrain ribbon stitched together - it has a wire in the brim so won't fold, but will go flat in a suitcase. Looks kind of... Downton, but it fitted and suited me, which is the clincher.
