I'm not bad looking from the front . I'm a solid 7 and a half out of 10 with my make up on and a flattering outfit. But sweet holy lord, I am ugly in profile! I forget this until I go in change my rooms that have mirrors on all the walls, and then I see the full horror - double chin, witchy nose, matronly body shape (looks kind of sexy curvy from the front but I just look like my mum from the side). Ugh. Please tell me it's not just me.

Yes, me too! Massive nose and the line from my chin to my chest is a curve rather than an angle. I hate it!

I got a horrible shock in a shop changing room just this morning. I look awful from the side and back. I thought my short cropped hair looked cute and elfin but I just look like a pre pubescent boy from the back. My nose looks bigger and pointier from the side and any illusion of a waistline disappears meaning I look very straight up and down (back to looking like a boy as I am sadly lacking in the chest department). Came home thoroughly depressed.

Yep it's amazing how different i look. I don't really like my front face but I'm used to it. My side face though makes me wonder if i have an overbite, why i put weight on on my cheeks and chin before anywhere else and how odd my eyes appear.

Ffs just had a peek with a couple of mirrors. There are literally no bones in the lower half of my face.

Cao you must be my twin. I look just like the wicked witch of the West in profile, although thankfully not such a green complexion.

I look ok from the front - at least in the mirror, I look dreadful in photos!

I caught a glimpse of myself in a shop window yesterday and oh boy, not an attractive sight.
Unfortunately I look more and more like my DM.......who's 30 years (well into her 90's) older than me!
Even if I breathe in it doesn't improve things much at all .

I'm the opposite! I look great from the side, relatively toned and somewhat in proportion. From the front, I look really wide and boxy - my big boobs and hourglass hips don't really look good unless I'm wearing something bodycon (ha- I wish). So everything tends to hang off my boobs and hides my small waist. I have quite a nice profile too, slim jawline and neck - but from the front, you can see my massive cheeks lol.

I am also profile ugly! I have a huge beaky nose and a weak chin, severe overbite and carry all of my weight on my belly so side on I look pregnant.

Havibg double jaw surgery and genioplasty later this year though, can't wait to have a normal jaw line.

Oh yep. I was actually reduced to tears at the weekend in the changing rooms.
From the side I am hunch backed and lumpy, from the back I look like an overweight marine. Really masculine upper back and thick neck with a massive pillowy arse.
I want to banish all mirrors.

ugh, husband took some photos while we were at the seaside at the weekend, he managed, unbeknown to be, to get me in the shots, sea monster is all I can describe myself, he used mermaid All I can say is that he has a seriously distorted idea of what mermaids look like! I don't even have long hair

I have no jawline, double chins, flat, round face, skinny arms, big round belly, oh the list is endless.....no wonder I hate having my photo taken!

I'm the same - I'm pretty good from the front, probably a 7, but I've got an overly large chin which is hideous from the side!

Me too! Big saggy boobs, huge belly, saggy chin, beaky nose, short neck, all looks worse from the side. I've no hips really so look much slimmer from the front. But I discovered recently what is much WORSE is a slightly turned position, so in between straight on and sideways. I look absolutely MASSIVE in this position ( don't try it, trust me! )

That slightly turned 3/4 view is hellish, isn't it. I've been known to storm home in the huff after seeing that view. From the front I'm presentable- ish (or possibly delusional!), and even turning my own head for a side view in a mirror at home is bearable. But bring in multiple mirrors and I might as well go to bed and stay there. Chest like a shelf, no chin/neck, big belly, poked-out head, rounded shoulders and a slight twist to my thoracic spine (thanks, Dad).
