Looking for some recommendations. Preferably organic and not tested on animals. Thanks.

Clarins drops. You put them in your normal moisturiser, they make them for face and body. Fool proof and you can build it up over a few days to the depth of colour you want. I have super sensitive skin and it's the only fake tan that doesn't give me a rash

emilybrontescorset · 18/06/2017 09:00

It's probably not organic but I'm using st moritz.
It's the only self ran that doesn't streak on me.

user1497012351 · 18/06/2017 10:22

I like st tropez in the shower. But don't think it's organic or anything.

NotQuitePerfect · 18/06/2017 10:38

St. Moritz. Cheap, cheerful, realistic colour, non-streaking, prob not organic though.

EssentialHummus · 18/06/2017 10:53

Dove Summer Revived (the darker one - I'm pretty pale and the lighter one doesn't do much, even on me). Cheap, non-sticky, gradual and idiot-proof.

poppym12 · 18/06/2017 11:35

I can't suggest any brands as I don't use it but if you want cruelty free, please don't buy clarins or dove, op

botemp · 18/06/2017 11:45

Vita Liberata. AFAIK cruelty-free (but not sure on their China status) and they use organic ingredients - but might be more a marketing ploy more than anything else as most 'organic' beauty tends to be as it's completely unregulated. Great natural tan though. I've used the mousse (not the 2-3 week one which seems more hassle than gain) and the lotion. I slightly prefer the mousse but the lotion has a better guide colour.

Bondi Sands is also supposed to be cruelty-free, have been looking at the Liquid Gold which gets a lot of love on Social Media but I have yet to see any decent unpaid reviews.

RoseVase2010 · 18/06/2017 12:06

Skinny Tan!

I'm trying Bondi Sands but not keen as it's streaky

Greenvalleymama · 18/06/2017 12:15

Vita Liberata Ten Minute Tan is organic and works well for me (you can shower it off after ten minutes and the tan develops over 4-6hrs)

Greenvalleymama · 18/06/2017 12:34

Just spotted that the NKD SKN ten minute tan is organic and has better reviews than the Vita Liberata (and is cheaper too, under a tenner at Superdrug at the moment and free delivery if you have a points card)

RedMetamorphosis · 18/06/2017 16:38

Bondi Sands is absolutely brilliant, both the fake tan and the gradual tanner.

donners312 · 18/06/2017 17:05

Tropic have started doing a fake tan. Totally natural and not tested on animals for sure.

jeaux90 · 18/06/2017 17:57

Are clarins doing the animal testing in china or is a Chinese agency? I know they still have rules there about testing before going to market but is this down to vendors or the government?

Leilaniii · 19/06/2017 12:06

It's a government regulation. If you want to sell to China your products have to be tested on animals. So cruel. So unnecessary.

No idea if it fits your criteria, but Clinique Self Sun. Been using it for 15 years and its still the best I've ever tried.

Leilaniii · 19/06/2017 12:29

I'll look into that, thanks.

I like Bondi Sands darker one, it leaves a gorgeous glow. I always moisturise ankles, knees and elbows before though, so no streaks.

PatMullins · 19/06/2017 13:38

Another vote for Bondi Sands
