Shaving rash

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/06/2017 22:09

I've suddenly started getting shaving rash on my legs.

(I'm blaming this on postnatal body stuff as I've still got hair loss, dry skin etc. I've never had it before. I've not changed anything such as razor or what I'm using or technique. My legs are recently exfoliated and moisturised).

Anything I can do? Both to stop it happening and/or to help it go down? (Short of waxing of course, which isn't possible tomorrow!)

I get a rash from shaving a lot. My skin is very sensitive. Make sure your razor isn't dull. Exfoliate before shaving with a BHA. Don't shave every day if your skin is really sensitive. I use grapeseed oil. Another poster in another thread says sensitive shaving cream is good. It's less fragranced. Around the bikini area you're supposed to go in the direction of the hair growth instead of against it. Also I use a men's Mach 3 razor as I find the quality better.
