I need some new sandals for work/going out & I'm trying to move away from wearing my much loved Birkenstocks all the time! I think I like these - would I be able to wear them with everything?

I need MN's opinion to help me decide!

They look really uncomfortable to me, and as though they'd work with a beachy maxi but not much else.

AlletrixLeStrange · 17/06/2017 15:00

I love them and would wear them with anything.
I'm not very "fashionable" though so I might be the only one Grin

I think wedge toe post sandals are probably some of the most unattractive shoes in existence. They are no exception, I really don't like them.

imjessie · 17/06/2017 15:09

Seriously frumpy to my eye 😬

Truckingalong · 17/06/2017 15:10

God no. A thousand times no.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 17/06/2017 15:11

No, horrible. I can't imagine anything more uncomfortable?

Boopboopboop · 17/06/2017 15:11

Sorry but I think they look quite tacky. Think it's because they're jazzed up flip flops, not quite flip flops and not quite sandals

Boopboopboop · 17/06/2017 15:13

I can imagine them worn with unflattering white linen cropped baggy trousers

almightygirl · 17/06/2017 15:13

Oh dammit.

I'm really struggling to find anything. I don't want completely flat sandals but I struggle to wear heels as I'm on my feet all day (school).

they scream 'cruise wear ' to me

NC4now · 17/06/2017 15:23

What about some wedge mules?

SleepFreeZone · 17/06/2017 15:28

The lady linked to ones are nice!

Yup, or ladies in their 60's who go to Benidorm or Tenerife every year.

DameXanaduBramble · 17/06/2017 15:30

Try the smaller palmeiras wedges, super comfy and look nice too.

DameXanaduBramble · 17/06/2017 15:31

Yes, that's it! They look like Benidorm sandals, to be worn with long toenails and shimmery pink polish.

SinglePringle · 17/06/2017 15:31

Dear god no! They say 'leathery skinned 70 something who goes to Benidorm three times a year'.

almightygirl · 17/06/2017 15:32

navyandwhite I'm not sure if I do like them, or if it's the 50% off that's appealing to me!

NC4now those are nice but the heel is too high - I wouldn't be able to wear those all day.

No toes out at work.

almightygirl · 17/06/2017 15:33

Lol! That's a definite no then! I'm turning 40 soon, not 60 Grin
