Yes, sorry.
I think maxi anything needs abit of skin showing to stop the look being too wintery /heavy.

But if you like it then who cares?!

Hoppinggreen · 16/06/2017 11:08

Depends.
I have a smart navy blue maxi dress that's fit and flare and I wear it with ankle boots for work.
Don't think boots would work with anything floaty though

Hmmm.
Thanks. I've googled and there's plenty of images but probably a hard look to get right. I think it may look good if maxi dress has biker or denim jacket over but maybe too heavy otherwise

You might look a bit Amish?

It depends on the maxi dress in question, though as a rule of thumb I'd say that open-toed gladiator sandals tend to look the best with them.

It can work if they are a light or tan suede and a bit slouchy in style and the maxi is a vest style one or a hippie tiered one.

I wore floaty maxi skirts and DMs a lot in my yoof.

It was boiling so I went for sandals Smile

Totally depends on the dress but I do love a floral above the knee dress with ankle boots. Grin
