Gel top coat over normal polish?

Does such a thing exist? I do my own 'manicures' so have lots of good polish esp OPI. I'm interested in the shellac style finish and wondered if you can get a topcoat to cure under.

You can use regular polish between a gel bottom and top coat, you still need to use a curing lamp though and the results don't last as long as all gel, but it's okay, I've done it a few times.

You can also get something that you can mix with regular polish to turn it into gel, I can't remember what it's called by you can get it in Boots. It's normally with the gel polishes. Again with that you still need gel top and base coat and a curing lamp.

Sorry, just to add regular polish won't cure under a lamp, you have to leave it to throughly dry then put the top coat on, then cure. There are full instructions on how to do it online, I think it's called a 'gel sandwich'.
