Wedding dress help

OK, so DP and I have booked our wedding venue. We will be getting married outdoors at a litte French château. I need your help finding ideas for a dress that would be appropriate and sophisticated.

I'm 5"8 with hips and a belly that just won't tone up (including above my belly button), so I need to conceal this area (corset maybe?). I'd like something floor length but with no train (or something that can easily be hooked up) and I'd like the dress to be light and flowy. Oh and my boobs have deflated due to weight loss, so I have my reservations about anything requiring me to go bra-less.

This feels like mission impossible

Will strapless bras be ok given your reservations about your boobs?

If you don't like your belly then you need structure so something with a back (lots of dresses at the moment are backless or have sheer illusion backs - I wore one such dress and it didn't hold my tummy in at all, cue frantic dieting!) Corset sounds a good idea.

You could go strapless but have a lace jacket to go over the top if you like? That is always a sophisticated look in my opinion.

Oh, and congratulations!

I'm 5 foot 6 and was 17.5 stone when I got married. Totally go for the corset, you won't need a bra, promise!

Thank you for getting back to me so fast. It looks like a trip to Monsoon is called for. I don't live in the UK (should have said that in my original post) but will be there for a couple of weeks in the summer. I also like the Phase Eight dresses (especially Pandora) but am worried about my backside looking huge.
But yes, watcha, that's the kind of dress I had in mind

Where are you based? I thought you were having a destination wedding Smile
You could order one or two of those dresses (or something else from those sites) to be delivered to you and then return them if they don't suit, maybe??

It is a destination wedding. I live in the EU, but not in France

Good idea about getting them delivered, then I could show them to select trusted friends too
