What do I wear for this posh wedding?

Dh and I are going away next month for a family wedding, and both really looking forward to it.

I just have no idea what to wear! It's quite a posh affair and I would like to look classy.

I am 31, 5'8 and a size 8-10. Biggest problem for me is that I have an ugly plastic brace on my left foot. With any luck I could squeeze it into a pair of flat shoes and hope I can walk with my stick, or put my moon boot back on and wear a flat shoe on the other foot. Complete opposite of classy eh Grin

My only other issue is I'm not overly confident, I'm happy to get a tan and will have nails and lashes done but I'm really struggling to find something I like. I've never been able to wear a jumpsuit without looking like I have a cameltoe either! I like the idea of separates and I saw something in coast that was ok, but just a bit meh.

Dh will look gorgeous in his kilt.. are any of you lovelies able to help me, pretty please??

That's nice, and not too tight either thank you.

Puoive a cracking figure, if I was in your position unfortunately I haven't waist post children) but I'd go for a wide leg high waisted palazzo pant, think 1940s siren and a really stunning silk top. Trouser will hide our boot totally and you won't trip on a trouser! Off to google some images

I was about to suggest exactly what Bad has suggested

What do you think about this one?

What do you think will make you feel most confident: trousers to concel the boot as much as possible, or something more like your normal style?

As an aside, I wouldn't both with a tan, but would focus on nice hair and nails - it's a quick way to look classy and well-groomed at a posh event Smile

And this one? I think it can be a good option for a wedding. What do you think? Anyway, you can check out more Lush dresses in their catalogue. They have bodycon, midi dresses etc.

Maxi dress to cover the cast and flat shoes? Saying this I'm the same size as you and finding one that doesn't swing round the ankles is a nightmare.

I agree with olanna - skip the fake tan and eyelashes if you want to look classy, unless it's very very light and lashes are v natural . And make sure nails are also natural shape and size.

And disabled and / or flat shoes are SO not the opposite of classy. The opposite is too short, too revealing , too tight, too shiny, too " look at me " , too drunk and inappropriate behaviour and dress for the occasion.

Front & back

Feint is nice but the back might be too fusy.
