False tan for amateurs

Can anyone recommend a false tan for beginners?

I have a wedding on Monday and definitely need to improve my white legs!

Thanks in advance. Flowers

Clarins. They do drops you put your moisturiser. That way you build it up over a few days to the colour you want. They do then for face and body. Great product and fool proof.

Don't try skinny tan. My legs and feet currently look like they belong to an Oompa Loompa Confused

Boots No7 used to do a tan that you can see as you apply buy will develop a little further. So you put it on like a foundation but it will go darker overnight.

I like vita liberata gradual tan.

Ginmakesitallok · 14/06/2017 22:23

Misty - which skinny tan made you an oompah loompa? I've used the gradual mousse and the oil one and think they are fab! Easy to apply and a natural colour

Tippitoesandbuttonnose · 14/06/2017 22:32

Dove summer glow gradual tanner. It's not gradual, works overnight but light tan you can build. Or rimmel sun shimmer mouse.

applespearsbears · 14/06/2017 23:21

I love skinny tan mousse, leave it on overnight and lasts for 10 days but it is strong. Really doesn't streak putting it on and gives good even colour.

I would recommend Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. At least if you mess it up you can wash it off and start again. I always apply with a mitt and it's easy to see straightaway if you need to rub it in a bit more or add some more.

happymum73 · 14/06/2017 23:52

Another vote for the Clarins drops you put in moisturiser. It really is foolproof and smells ok too.

SleepingBooty · 15/06/2017 00:00

Amber Solaire Bronzer Mist. It comes in light or dark and is quick to do.

Notmyrealname85 · 15/06/2017 00:06

Another vote for Sally Hansen - get the non-glitter one though!! And the most subtle shade if you're pale :)

Timepasses · 15/06/2017 05:43

Thank you for all the replies. I'll take a look at the clarins drops I think.

Sally Hansen Airbrush legs! Brilliant stuff!

wispytree · 15/06/2017 05:53

St Tropez gradual tan. Fucking amazing stuff.

CherylVole · 15/06/2017 06:05

Theh don't work on your legs. I've had those the moussed and the oil.

I'd just get the temp spray on legs tan for the wedding to be honest. The drops etc best for face

CherylVole · 15/06/2017 06:05

Oh gradual tan was shit. So pale

WipsGlitter · 15/06/2017 06:47

Get a professional spray tan on Saturday. Will have faded to a decent level by Monday.

BettySmut · 15/06/2017 06:58

I bought the Clarins drops last week and they're brilliant! No streaking or horrible stink.

I've in the past been on here raving about Palmer's Cocoa Butter gradual tanner but I've bought 2 bottles this year and they both made my legs go really streaky - so I wouldn't use that! Don't know if they've changed the formula but it's shocking now.

I got the Clarins drops. Brilliant stuff and easy to use. Thanks all.

I like Sally Hansen and I used a Clarins tanning product ( not the drops). Whichever product you get use a mit to help apply it evenly....I find it makes all the difference. You can find them in Boots cheaply.

GuinefortGrey · 17/06/2017 19:14

I loved Skinny Tan and would buy it again. It's the only one that hasn't made me streaky as I'm absolutely rubbish at applying tan. I bought the palest one and it looked so natural. I actually felt almost confident in my swimming costume on holiday for the first time ever!
