Is anyone planning on wearing a jumpsuit to Ascot?

Just that really. I hate my legs and have a nice navy jumpsuit from Fenn Wright Manson. www.fennwrightmanson.com/dresses/antwerp_jumpsuit.htm

I'm planning to wear a navy fasinator and wedge heels. Do you think it will be OK?

Fascinator - no. Rather old hat these days! Hats like the D of Cambridge wears are much better or a saucer on a headband. At least something that looks like a hat anyway. There is usually a big choice for navy and white. No problem with that jump suit. I assume you are not in the Royal Enclosure so no-one will bother too much what you wear but I think wedges are casual. Do you not have court shoes? The dress code is formal day wear, not holiday wear.

Hi Bubbles, thanks for replying, no I'm not in the Royal Enclosure.

I'm hopeless in heels, my feet hurt so much. I'm usually in flat shoes, so I don't think I could cope walking in heels all day. But I'll give it a trail run.

The dress code has been updated this year and jumpsuits are allowed in the Royal Enclosure (shock, horror!), so you will be fine wherever you are. That said, I'm sticking to dresses myself.

I second Bubbles on the fascinator though - pillbox or disc would be better.
