I'm in love with this but it's more than I've ever spent on a bag before (am really not a bag person - just want something to stick a purse in). Are Fossil bags good quality? Do you think it would get dirty really quickly? Would I be better off with black? Should I treat myself, or might I find something more useful/durable for less? Opinions, please!

Does it come with a guarantee? If say, zips and lining were guaranteed for a year and you sprayed it with that funny stuff, would that work?

Small bags are cool by the way. I bet Audrey Hepburn had one Wink

I had a quality failure with the only ever Fossil bag I bought, which put me off, but it was a very different style and mostly related to the colour fading which won't be a problem with natural tan.

I think there's a decent chance that they'll be covered in the big department store "20% off everything" sales if there's any coming up so it might be worth hanging back a bit.

I usually have a tote, but I do like a small bag too for days out when I'm unlikely to be shopping and just want purse/phone/lip balm etc. My previous one was a Hobbs camera bag, which was about £70 in the sale and which I adored, but it's broken. :(

I think I need a slightly darker tan.

I have a fossil crossbody bag, mine is bright orange. The quality is lovely, it's well stitched and the leather is lovely. I would really recommend.

Thanks, Name.

Speaking of Hobbs, this is rather beautiful too.

That's lovely. And totally worth it. Fossil leather is beautiful. And hard wearing.

Just saw this in the window of Jones and thought of this thread. Not exactly the same but a loooot cheaper.

Buy the bag Remus. You'll get loads of use out of it and because you love it, you'll feel nice every time you sling it over your shoulder.

If you don't, you'll keep going on the site to admire it and one day your heart will sink because it'll be sold out.

At least order it to 'try it on'. and then keep it

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/06/2017 18:25

I do love it, but think I really do need a darker tan. I did go and play with it again, and it's lovely but I don't think it would turn into a long term relationship.
