Lidl's linen dress

Has anybody bought it? Looks nice for 7.99, but I can't try it on first.

It look very short. My days of wearing short dresses are long gone

Saw it in store, looked quite nice I thought.

It looks short on the model, but when I held it up to myself in Lidl it was very long, too long actually. Obviously, I'm short and models are tall, but I thought the difference was huge. It was more or less the length of a midi dress, which would be good for work I suppose. I have something else to do after work tomorrow so it will probably be gone anyway by Wednesday...

I don't know about the dress but I do know that Lidl are excellent at taking things back. My other half has a strange compulsion to buy shit from the middle and then suffer buyers regret when I've had a good moan about the fact we already have our household hammer needs covered by the other 4 hammers we have and I don't want the footless tights that have been purchased as a guilt gift.

Silently - thing is I'm terrible at taking things back. I'd probably just shrug and chuck it in the pile for the charity shop.
