Best spray/fake tan for hols (on Sat!)??

Managed to wean myself off the sunbed some years ago, but still hate going on holiday pasty and corned-beefy!

Going on hols on Saturday. I've never had a spray tan before, usually use Fake Bake for a night out but doesn't seem to last very long.

Any tips - and when best to do it? Also, I always find that shaving legs takes the tan off - any way of avoiding this?

Myself, and the retinas of my fellow holiday makers, thank you in advance.

Going abroad?? I wouldn't bother.. get some sun spray with tan accelerator if your skin will tan you'll be turning golden in a few days. Mali Malibu do a f15 for £4 that's really good. (Used last week)
If your in a pool fake tan might streak with chlorine

Go to a spray tanner whose trained, I do my nephews partner now & her tan lasts 6 days not 3. She has had tan maintance drummed into her though Blush.

Her last therapist used to waft tan over her in a spray gun from Aldi, miss her shins out entirely because she didn't want to kneel down and didn't give her sticky feet protectors so the soles of her feet were dark orange.

Try the smaller tan companies like la tan, xen tan, morrocan tan, vita liberta, Suntana, Vani-t tan. They don't have the marketing of st Tropez or fake bake but they do make you brown because the amount of dha can be varied. Too much makes you orange if you're pale, the right amount makes you brown.

You should shave (with razors that don't have moisturising strips) or wax 24 hrs before tanning & avoid moisturiser on the day of the tan.

The first rinse off of guide colour should be plain water only, Afterwards wash in sodium lauryl sulphate free shower gel, lower the water temperature of the shower, pat dry, use an oil free moisturiser, avoid baby oil & gently exfoliate from day three.
