A bit of help from someone who knows what they're doing

I just popped in to boots in a bit of a rush, I really want to get in to a good routine of looking after my skin as I am spotty and greasy .
Got what I thought was cleanser toner and moisturizer form Lancôme.
I have got
Lait galateis douceur
And
Eau micellaire Douceur
They both appear to be cleansers or is there some style and beauty thing I don't know.

I clean my make up off with micellar water and then cleanse with a cream cleanser after. They're both cleansers but not the same.

So do people use a toner now.....is that and old fabeled thing ?
I really have lost touch.

I realise I come across as being utterly clueless.
Do I actually need a toner.
I have a nice moisturiser.

I don't tone, I remove my cleanser with damp cotton wool pads then moisturise.

Thanks, pre dc I used elemis and had a really good routine going, had lovely skin.
They're 6 now so I have no excuse for not doing it.

The lady throw in some serum, lip gloss, eye make up remover and I got a bag too so all in all I did ok.

Sounds like a good deal, I'm surprised she didn't talk you through the routine though! I'm quite jealous of your new products. I'm a bit of a beauty junkie tbh!

She did try, I popped in for 5 mins before I took the dc to a party then dashed off. So ran in and out.
