What to wear for afternoon coffee with a guy which may progress to evening drinks?

It was just coffee. Was thinking of smart jeans and a shirt but now there's talk of staying out for drinks I need something smarter.

I think drinks will involve bars rather than clubs. I don't have the figure for a body con dress but obv that would be way OTT for coffee anyway.

Am stumped.

I would stick with the jeans and shirt.

I would wear nice jeans, a top and a blazer. Works for everything.

I would wear denim skirt and v neck fitted black t shirt. Lots of lip gloss so I can reapply in evening and feel a bit more glam.
