My hair is shoulder length, layered and wavy. I have a GHD hairdryer which is good but I normally just finger dry my hair. If I am going out somewhere fancy I get a blow dry. This is getting really expensive now.
I don't want a dead straight look as this is a bit too harsh for me. I prefer a blown straight look but my hair is really thick and I don't seem to get a good result with just a brush and dryer.
Can anyone recommend some tools that I can consider? Are GHDs something I could use? I am really conscious of the condition of my hair so don't want to end up with really dry hair either. What protection products can I use?
