Tops please

What do you wear in warmer weather? I'm struggling...

Criteria:

• Must have sleeves
• Must not be too short
• Must be loose and flattering around the tummy area
• Not too fussy

I have precisely one top which meets these criteria, a pink oasis top bought two years ago. It's jersey at the back and silk at the front and short sleeves. I love it but can't wear it all the time..

I have the exact same requirements OP, and last year bought a fab plain navy top from French Connection. This year I was delighted to discover that they do them in a multitude of colours, so I bought most of them!

Those French connection tops are lovely but I think these are made from polyester?

Matalan had some lovely tops I bought recently fitting your list. I have washed them.several times & they look great.

I have just sent back 6 Phase 8 tops because they barely reached the waistband of my jeans. I do have a long back though.

I would second Matalan. I've bought some nice tops from there recently.

This is surprisingly nice on, better than the picture. I wore it with a fine long white cardigan.

Polyester on FC or modal on P8 where's the cotton?

I think that all the cotton tops are at Esprit. I was looking at their website last night. I refuse to wear fecking polyester in warm weather.

White Stuff and Weirdfish both have cotton (and not just in patterns - they have plain and plain embroidered tops this summer.) Pricy for a t shirt though.

Warehouse have some lovely tops in at the moment. I've just ordered a few.

Fatface have some nice things too if you like their style. I bought this recently. Love it, very light and summery and comfortable to wear.
