Engagement party outfit.

My engagement party is on the 11th August and I don't have a clue what to wear so looking for some suggestions.

I am a 26 on top, broad shoulders and 38DD boobs, pregnant looking stomach. 22 on the bottom, quite nice legs.

I am looking for something to hide my stomach and upper arms. Ideally I would like a top and trousers as I would feel more comfortable but will take dress and skirt suggestions as well. Budget £70

Anyone able to help? Desperate.

Studio 8 have some nice tops. The Nisha and Ellianna might be nice with slim fitting black trousers or the Dexie is nice (but it's right at the top of your budget).

What kind of colouring are you? They have some nice dresses too.

I like this with a pair of skinny black trousers and these wedges but I don't know if it will make me look massive.

Pretty colour and neckline - the only way to know is to give it a try. An outfit looking good depends on how the wearer feels, I think.

I don't think you're a 38DD if you're a 26 on top. Bra intervention might help with confidence?

Sorry, I've only just seen this - it just means a well fitting bra can make a difference to the way your clothes look. If you're near a city you can get measured at bravissimo or similar or there's a DIY bra measuring guide here.

I love the shoes. I like the top but you would need to try it on - there's a lot of material, so you might feel it is too voluminous, or it might just hang really nicely.

I haven't ordered the top yet. I'm thinking of wearing it with white trousers instead of black.

I do like the patterned dress, going to order it and see what it looks like.

So I ordered the top I like it but I'm not in love with it. I also ordered the shoes but can't even fit my feet in them, they are so tight.

😤so frustrated and my confidence has taken even more of a hit. It's all my own doing though.

Does anyone have any ideas for a nice plus size dress that would suit and apple. I can't seem to find a top that doesn't make me look massive.
