Hi all. Any advice welcome. Dark hair brown eyes. Wanted to lighten up. Went for bayalage. No big change. Second appt nice mix of bronde. This time told stylist not sure about going any lighter at ends but as colour had washed up wanted her to make roots slightly lighter brown. She said would be good idea to 'refresh' t bar just to make it fresher looking. I told her I would go with what she thought. She started to put colour on at 1.40 and left me. She took 3 areas 1 at each side and One at back to refresh blonde. I sat for at least 1 hr 20 min before getting washed. Then toner. In chair knew it looked lighter but didn't worry too much. For outside and on checking car mirror nearly cried. Totally blonde t side. So light and changed overall
Look of my hair. Waited 2 days to see if it settled. Everyone told me it was too light as well. Called 2 days later. She said must have been confusion. I defo said I thot only roots needed done but I went by her recommendation. She said we could tone down all over or add brown streaks. Prob is don't want to tone whole head after paying so much to lighten. Will brown streaks look stripy. Was the time colour was on too long and is this what caused bright blonde look. If anyone has any expertise would welcome advise. Can't believe 3 foils can change look so much. Also very fine hair. I think colour was on to long. St least 1 hr 20 mins seems excessive or would this not have mattered. Should I tone or add more base at front. Please help. Xxx
