Is there such a thing as a waterproof, incredibly comfortable STYLISH sandal?

We're off to Florida in August - rainy season!!
We've been before and I usually live in flip flops but the rain in Florida is such that I have watched those flip flops float away as we tried to walk through the downpour!
So this year as well as flip flops I want to take a pair of sandals that will actually stay on my feet. They need to be extremely comfortable to deal with all the walking and made of material that will dry out really quickly. It would be an added bonus if they actually look nice as well!

Any help greatly appreciated!

Sorry, it's comfy OR stylish. You need to decide which you want Smile

Crocs?

Have you looked at the new haviana luna?

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 09/06/2017 10:58

Why would you wear sandals in the rain? That can never be comfortable!

PacificDogwod · 09/06/2017 10:58

Would you consider this 'stylish'? - it's certainly waterproof Smile

I rate Vionic for comfort (proper arch support!) and they have microfibre footbeds so don't fare so badly in the wet as Birkies. They have some truly ugly styles but some are quite acceptable - have a look here.

Pricey though Sad

Gosh, yes, my Lunas are the world's most comfortable sandals!

ShatnersBassoon · 09/06/2017 11:03

I imagine you'd have to go down the Millets route if you want specifically waterproof sandals that you can walk in all day, so wave goodbye to style. Jazzy velcro strapping here you come Grin

Saltwater sandals. You can even paddle in the sea in them.

YY to haviana Luna. V comfy, and the rain won't spoil them or wash them off your feet.

And your feet will dry nice & quickly without having soggy shoes for the rest of the day.

Thanks everyone! Most of my flip flops are havianas so that seems like a good bet, might wait and pick up a pair over there as they should be a bit cheaper (unless the £ tanks even more....)

Go for a pair of Lunas - because of their ankle strap they are so comfortable to wear effortlessly for hours of walking.

Birkenstock do their popular styles in EVA rubber, lightweight and cheap:

I second saltwater sandals. They're beautiful, you can get them wet, and they're incredibly comfy once you've worn them once or twice.

Actually.
Mine are the flash urban not Luna (very similar)
