Thickening up straggly post-natal hair

My hair has been a disaster for the last few years through pregnancies, with increasing post-natal hair loss each time. I'm now a couple of years on from last pregnancy (never say never!) and have kept my hair in a boring bob for damage limitation. I want to grow it again, but it still feels limp and straggly even though the the baby fuzz is mostly one length now. I may have to accept that it will never be as thick as wavy as it was pre-baby but wondered if anyone had recommendations for products or diet changes that can stimulate faster and thicker hair growth? A hairdresser recommended a supplement called 'Hair High' (I think) a while ago but I can't find any trace of it online. Thanks!

No real advice but very interested in any responses. My hair was the same post prgnancies but the hair loss didn't stop. Ended up being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and poor hair is always the first victim when it goes a bit wobbly!

Would love to know if anyone has used the caffeine shampoo and if it made a diffrence?

Plantur 39 it's called. It's quite dear though!

goes off to google and self-diagnose underactive thyroid ; )

Thank you, I will have a look at that. I think I'll look at Holland and Barratt as well and see if there are any supplements.
It's just a bit grim. At least you can hide a post-baby body, you can't hide your hair!

My hair stylist recommends Hairburst! You can get it in Boots and H&B. They also do a new mum version which is pregnancy/breastfeeding safe!

Is Hairburst a supplemwnt?

Brilliant, thank you NaturWilde. That's actually less than half price at Holland and Barrett just now. Have you tried it?

I find iron tablets really help with my hair post partum - maybe worth a try?

OGX caffeine shampoo/conditioner/treatment spray. Amazing stuff and often on offer at Boots/Superdrug 3 for £15. Has thickened my hair up a treat and is making it grow so quickly.

Thanks for the suggestions. Going to give everything a go I think!
