Save my shoulders - work backpack to fit 15.6" laptop

I've finally accepted that the totes need to go and I'll have to start using a backpack as I just need to carry too much around with me. I've been looking for a while and like the look of the knomo bags but none are big enough to fit my 15.6" laptop. In fact, I've really struggled to find anything aimed at women in that size. I've seen a few for men but nothing appeals as they often look very masculine.

Can anyone suggest something I might have missed? I'm pretty sure my DC's laptops are that size and they both have Eastpacks which they love!

Knomo backpacks are the ones to be seen in. Super smart but practical. I have it in navy leather

Knomo only have 1 men's backpack to fit 15.6" and it's not very nice. I love eastpak bags - I've had one for years for travelling -
but I think maybe too casual for work.

I've recommended this on here before but I have the wenger Alexa. It fits a 16 inch laptop, looks smart but is vinyl which I was a bit sceptical of, but it's worn very well and has a three year guarentee. John lewis have it

Thanks Almostthere I actually spotted that one on Amazon and thought it looked very nice - the only thing putting me off is that it doesn't look like it has a little exterior pocket for an easy access to an oyster card or keys? Is there one I can't see on the photos?

Have you thought about getting a trolley bag instead?

It has two pockets on the front with an inset zip, the smaller of the two is perfect for work pass, keys, travel card and so on. The bigger pocket fits my phone and pens and stuff. The inside has a middle part for purse, umbrella and drink and a padded laptop holder. It's super practical, I've been really pleased with it.

Brilliant I'm going to order that then! Mumsnet to the rescue!
