Denim blazer, yay or nay?

I'm a massive clothes hoarder, and am on about clear out no. 70.

I have a denim blazer from Whistles that has been in and out of the eBay/charity shop pile. Looks a bit like this one

Is it a naff concept? Think I would wear it with chinos, silk t and pumps of some sort. It I don't know if it's just a shit item of clothing, or not quote me

Have never actually worn it, but that's more to do with having over 40 blazers Blush than anything else. I have culled the blazer collection down to 10... does this stay or go?!

Sorry I think we need a pic. It sounds wrong but it could be lovely

burnishedsilver · 06/06/2017 21:31

If you loved it you wouldnt have to ask. Let it go.

May

Damn it. I mean 'nay'

CatsRidingRollercoasters · 06/06/2017 23:05

It's a nay from me: naaaaaay!

LoupGarou · 06/06/2017 23:25

Hmmm, I don't know, its a bit hard to tell from thee google images link.

If its like this, then yes absolutely, I think it would look great and you should definitely keep it. If it looks like something a Status Quo groupie might have work in the early nineties then perhaps charity shop it.

Denim blazer, yay or nay?

Worn, not work

KoalaDownUnder · 07/06/2017 05:59

For denim, I'm thinking jacket yes, blazer no.

AdalindSchade · 07/06/2017 06:04

It's very 2002

babsjonhson · 07/06/2017 06:38

Very b*witched

Floisme · 07/06/2017 07:25

It sounds a bit dated at the moment - like those leather blazers that were around at a similar time. But if it fits and it's well made and in good condition and you've got the space, I'd put it away. It'll be round again before you know it, only next time they'll all be made of polyester.

Going against the grain here, but I would wear a denim blazer if I had one. I can see it working with cropped, black, wide-legged trousers, a stripy top, and white Stan Smiths.
