I'm looking for foundation recommendations. I don't mind splashing out. I'm 45, my skin is good but I'm starting to feel a bit droopy/jowly and I wondered of there was anything out there that could make me look fresher and perkier??

I use Dior skin Star foundation, quite creamy, adds glow but NOT sparkle. Not so sheer that it doesn't cover but not thick and cakey either. May I also suggest a sweep of Benefit Dandelion all over your face for a lifting effect? Don't be scared of the pink, it won't come out pink. Use a light hand.

Thanks Buster. What brush do you use for the Dandelion? Does it come with one? I tend to use my bronzer brush for everything as I can never get the hang of anything smaller!

I'd recommend Estee Lauder doublewear- it's the best I've found. Previously used Clinique but EL is better on 35+ skin I find

The new laura mercier candleglow is meant to be good and not too heavy..

While we're on the subject of droopy face. Do you have any recommendations for something to fill in the nose to mouth lines?

Filler injections?

YSL touché elcat foundation! Phenomenal sruff.

PP mentioned Dior Star which is also good, but I now prefer the texture of YSL on my skin.

Maybe try samples of a few before committing? Everyone's different.

I just use a fluffy face powder brush, for nose to mouth lines I use Dior skin flash high lighter pen. It's my go to for dark circles too but NOT bags or spots. If you get Dandelion pop some in one half of your face and look in the mirror! You'll be amazed!

Oh and Dandelion comes with a brush, not a great one though but it's ok!
