Dress and bits for wedding in a month

What I need help with is maybe not finding the actual outfit as such but more suggestions of styles/colours that would give me more options to choose from than my usual goto ones.

I'm going to a family wedding in a month (my bf family) I don't know them all very well despite having known my bf nearly a decade so I'm very nervous to start off with and don't want what I'm wearing to be an additional worry.

The wedding is secular, in the country, day into evening, we're in Ireland but I'm usually quite warm so I prefer light clothes that I can add a throw to if needed.

I am fine when just buying something for myself or for work but I already feel so nervous about going at all that I'm feeling stuck. I have a limited budget definitely nothing over £100 - I'm hoping for a whole outfit for less

Me - 6' 39-32-39 long brown/hennaed hair and blue eyes. Most of my 'nice' outfits have been slightly forties shaped (short sleeves, sweetheart or scooped neck, high waist and pencil shaped hemline)

Someone told me I am winter in a colour chart thing but while black, white & red are lovely on me I don't think they are really wedding guest colours. I want to look nice & feel confident not really stand out. I like greens and blues so thinking along those lines and I get quite tanned in summer so those colours tend to work on me too.

tl:dr - tall size 12ish needs summer wedding guest ideas.

I believe winter colours can also include jewel colours? Do these suit you?
Aqua
Magenta
Emerald green
Bright blue
Deep purple
Rich raspberry

I wonder with your mention of styles do you know the company Vivien of Holloway? I just had a look online and the dresses are more expensive than I remembered but that might be the sort of look you like.

Thanks Donkeys, I didn't know that about Winter as it was just a snatched conversation with someone and they just said 'think sleeping beauty colours'

Cool, well that gives me a lot more scope! I've just google VoH and my gosh yes thats just the type of style I love so I'll have a wee browse.

They are a bit further than my price range but maybe I could try and sell something else (I have lots of lovely outfits from my work) as it would be worth the investment for something I really want rather than a 'make do' outfit.

And thank goodness for sizing in measurements - my wardrobe has a range of 8 to 18's so I can never tell usually without a try on.

Thanks again Donkey, I've had so much on my plate I've avoided the whole thing and its really nice to have a starting point.
