find me a plain blue maxi dress please

I've looked at so many websites I think my eyes are going to fall out.

I want a simple strappy maxi dress, gathered waist rather than straight fit, totally plain (I hate patterns on me) in a deep muted blue colour, not cobalt or navy, more a mid denim blue but not actually denim or tencel.

Please help me oh wise ones.

I've got the one on the left here at the moment kenneth. Colour is nice but the fabric is horrible. Crinkled, creasey horribleness so it's going back. The one on the right is a bit too navy but might be ok. Where is that one from please?

Could you find one in the style you like they you could dye the colour you want?

I've found a black one on the boden website fruitbox. any idea what the sizing is like as I've never bought from there?

I'm beginning to think it doesn't exist. I bought the perfect one last year from h & m in black and I've worn it a lot. They've changed the design this year and I can't find anything blue that's not cobalt, denim or navy.

I have a black one from Boden from last summer and would suggest sizing down. I have it in an 8 even though I am a curvy size 10 with DD/E boobs!

Would agree sizing is a half size too generous with boden

It's cheap stuff but have you tried Boohoo?

I've just found a possible on boohoo. Very reasonable so if I'm sure it would do for something!

The White Company have done a plain maxi dress for a number of years. This year's is navy, here.

I have a mid blue version from a previous year, which I bought off Ebay. This might be a solution if you don't mind second hand; they sometimes have new ones too. I just searched against "White Company maxi" then selected dresses in blue, and these came up.
