Need help finding a top to go with a skirt. Hopeless and useless with clothes

Disclaimer - I didn't choose the skirt. I don't wear this style of clothes usually and have no idea what to put with it.

But I need a top to go with it ... it needs to look bridesmaidy. Budget is around £50 or less. I'm a size 10/12 but large of nork so clothes hang off them and make me look bigger than I am. I have no idea where to start and I think the skirt is a bit frumpy on me but have been assured it isn't

and some shoes too if anyone is feeling up to it! Shoes again around the £50 mark

A silk vest in same colour or navy, tucked in and puffed out slightly. Hair up, simple, elegant earrings and closed-toe kitten heels or flats with ankle strap.

Hi, I would be tempted to get a body suit to go with the skirt, there are so many to choose from! I'd have a look on asos or pretty little thing. I've attached a couple which could be nice x

I am assuming the skirt is grey - in which case a pink silk top would work. Possibly floral. There are grey or pink shoes around and a lower heel may be pretty. I think a halter neck does not work for larger ladies and I would avoid - indeed I do!
