Workwear ideas

I need some serious help with my work wardrobe - looking for ideas!

I work in a law firm and wear dresses and suits to work, but have recently been getting bored with my entire wardrobe of navy, black and grey. I really want to add some colour to my wardrobe while still being classy and not going over the top - I cannot seem to find a single retailer that has that right balance! I love Jaeger and always buy their yellow/orange/blue pieces on sale, which go perfectly with my boring black suits. I find Hobbs, Cos too grey/dull and Hoss Intropia too over the top. All Saints doesn't seem to produce anything that goes up to the knees. Zara doesn't work with my wobbly body.

Can anyone suggest a good alternative to Jaeger? Are there boutique/vintage shops I could try in London? Are there chains I haven't tried yet?

Massimo Dutti? But they are more muted at the moment. Banana Republic (now online only) worth a look. J Crew?

Winser London. I buy in the sale or on eBay usually. I particularly like their miracle dress.

Coast have some nice things that aren't weddingy, but not as much choice as wedding stuff.
Toast have nice, colourful things- yellows, greens, usually suit Autumn's if that helps.

Grrr- that apostrophe was put in by my phone!

It's a bit low end compared to other suggestions but I wear bright blazers from H&M, Zara and New Look. They've lasted me 5 years so far and I love them.

Thanks for the ideas! Off to check out Banana Republic, Toast, H&M. Not so convinced about Massimo and J Crew but will have a look :)

Daily - I had never come across Winser, seems like a great collection.

Win, I only came across it by chance. I really like the dresses. Very flattering.

Hobbs have some lovely colours at the moment, have another look. Winser and The Fold are both great if you can spend a bit more.
