Going on holiday and I want a short skirt to wear for casual that will just pull on and off over swim cossie. So ideally jersey type material? I can't find one anywhere?

Weird fish they do pull on jersey ones.

QueenRefusenik · 27/05/2017 16:57

H&m - plain stretch Jersey in multiple lengths, sizes and colours!

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 16:58

Thanks trump. They aren't really what I'm after and are all knee length.... would look awful on me.

Short ones here?Smile

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 17:27

That could work apple ... you don't think it would look too 'smart' by the pool? Going to a large complex and you're not allowed 'pool wear' in the restaurant so no sarongs obviously!

They do those H&M ones in loads of colours - a grey or bright one would look fine both poolside and inside I reckon Smile

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 17:47

bleugh have you seen them in store as they only have black online?

LorLorr2 · 27/05/2017 17:49

Have you thought of a dress so you can wack it on and be totally dressed?

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 18:05

lor dresses generally don't suit me. I'm only 5'2 and last time I went away I bought a dress I thought fitted the bill and it looked awful so didn't wear it!

I saw some short a-line jersey skirts in Superdry today

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 18:08

Really fritzy? I went the other week and they didn't have any. Will have another look!

I like this one from Hush

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 18:13

That's nice skinny but me and white don't mix Grin plus guarantee I'd get sun cream on it and that stains

Fair enough purple I never wear white either! But could just imagine schlepping from pool to bar in that (with no kids to put their sticky fingers on it, or me spilling my red wine!!)

Purplerainbow · 27/05/2017 19:12

In an ideal world I would wear white but I don't for all the above reasons Grin

That asos ones I think I will order first as possibly will look ok on me I think?! They'd look ok with a vest top on top wouldn't they?

Purplerainbow · 28/05/2017 07:40

Ooh thanks southeast a couple of those may well do the job. I will order those also. What is esprit like size wise?

OP posts:
A1Sharon · 28/05/2017 08:25

I haven't seen any in M&S? Going to look at these links too as skirt sounds ideal for me too.

McWeedie · 28/05/2017 10:59

M&S knot front beach dress, various colours, particularly like the striped one. Bought a couple and think they are quite flattering and forgiving Grin

IJustLostTheGame · 28/05/2017 16:52

What about the pink M&S sack dress?
That would cover a swimsuit
Grin
Just kidding.

reluctantlondoner · 03/06/2017 11:55

It's called something like "linen rich straight mini skirt" on M&S. Haha don't worry it's not actually "mini" - just above knee length!
