Sandals. What do you think of these two?

I have so many lovely sandals that are pretty impractical for walking a decent distance. So I've been on the prowl tonight and found these two....

What do you think? Practical, yes. Ugly? This is not for hiking. This is for doing the school run, then popping on to town and then walking home. So a couple of miles, easy walk but long enough that you don't want to be wincing by the end.

Please don't start recommending Merrell or similar. I can't, I just can't.

Look great to me! Practical but not ugly- in fact quite pretty.

Preference?

I like both pairs, but I personally prefer the first pair. I prefer the design, and the fact that you can just use the zip, as I can't stand pissing about with buckles and straps.

They both look good, for comfy sandals.

Have you looked at Fitflops? They have some nice stuff in the Uma Thurman collection

This won't help you but I prefer the second pair, precisely because there is no zip

They are both nice, I would go for the first pair I prefer the design of them.

Crazy expensive for nothing special sandals for the school run. I'd get three cheaper pairs.

My first bona fide "sensible" pair of sandals. At 36, i can finally call myself a grown up.
