Has anyone seen this navy dress?

I saw a woman wearing a lovely dress today but didn't get the opportunity to ask where is was from.

It was navy jersey, 3/4length sleeves with tiny dots possibly white or very pale blue.

It had a drawstring waist (not sure if that is the correct term) but not exactly a belt but a thin tie that went all the way round but sewed in rather than removable.

It looked rather White Stuffish but I've looked and it isn't there now.

Any ideas?

Thanks autumn. I looked at Henri Lloyd. The dress I saw was similar to some of those but not quite. I think a looser cut/thinner jersey maybe and longer sleeves.

Trouble with a question like this is who's to know whether the woman was wearing something from a few years ago.

It wasnt me you saw was it?? I was wearing this today its from Fat Face but about 5 years ago ..

No I am on IOW.. That ebay link is a rubbish photo of the dress but its too dark now for me to take one of my actual dress. it has an 'insown' elasticated waist line rather than drawstring . Its dark navy jersey with small white spots, buttons on the bodice and pockets

However , every time I wear it I always get people asking where its from.. It washes brilliantly and even though i have worn it loads it still looks almost new.. I would recommend you keep your eye for one on ebay ,

Oh and is about 5ins above knee on me,(I am 5'6) and I wear it with navy leggings

Thanks laska. Yours does look very similar but I think the dots may have been smaller or there were fewer of them.

I'm going to have a look on EBay tomorrow.

In future please chase after any woman who clothing you admire. Rugby tackle them if you have to. You owe it to your fellow mumsnetters!
