Quick opinions on this LK Bennett dress?

I can't decide if I like it or not.

She is being eaten by a giant green creature.

Only OK as a stage costume.

No the cut of the dress is fine but the pattern ruins it.

Not keen on a number of levels but especially don't like the hem

I really like it up to the see-through hem, which doesn't fit with ANY of the rest!

I usually like lk Bennett. This dress is the exception,😱,

I'm clearly the exception, I really like it! Would look gorgeous with gold accessories.

I was thinking of getting it altered so the hem was in line with the rest of the dress.

No. It looks horrible on the model, which I find doesn't bode well when it comes to trying it on at home.

I also really dislike the mesh hem hanging lower than the hem of the dress.

It looks like the shell has shrunk.

Definitely things wrong with it, what leaps out at me is the placement of the pattern - is it embroidery? It has a kind of pincer feel to it - like the green bits are some kind of nut-cracker, or, as someone said, she's being eaten by a green creature. It's the jaw-like action of the pattern. I think that's why the back's a bit better, it doesn't close in in the same way.

I like it but, I wear a lot of bright colours with contrasting patterns. Not everybody's cup of tea. I'm not sure about the mesh/see through hem...don't understand this trend. Have you tried it on yet?

Haven't bought it yet, am watching it on eBay. Shall I remove it from my watch list?

No. Especially the back view with the very visible seam / zip in the mesh
